Team MV Agusta Racing is set to go after earnest preparation for the up coming 2nd round of the 2007 Macarthur Mercedes Benz East Coast Road Race Series to be held at Wakefield Park in Goulburn, NSW this weekend March 17-18.
Current undefeated round 1 and series leader Brendan Clarke will be potentially joined by team mate, multi Australian Naked Bike Champion Craig Trinder also on an MV Agusta F4 1000 R. Trinder is still on the mend after suffering a high speed hit on his leg during testing back in December 2006.

Privateer MV Agusta team, Aluma-lite Racing totally dominated the first round of the BEARS National Series held in extremely hot conditions at Broadford, Victoria on Saturday and Sunday, February 24/25, 2007. Team rider John Allen piloted the new F4 1000 R in stock trim with RG3 silencers onto pole as well as winning the 2 races by a clear margin on the Saturday. Sunday’s form continued with another display of total dominance with another 2 wins.

MV Agusta Racing made its Australian Superbike racing debut at the Mercedes Benz East Coast Road Race Series dominating the first round with 3 wins from 3 races in the Superbike Class on the new F4 1000 R piloted by 22 year old Brendan Clarke. The first round of the series was held at Sydney’s Eastern Creek on Sunday January 21, 2007 in scorching conditions with the MV Agusta Racing F4 1000 R certainly fueling the fire and turning up the heat even further beating traditional bikes in the class. Clarke also won the lead up race to the East Coast Road Race Series the day before against his Sunday rivals to take out the Broc Parkes Cup.

Italy’s most prestigious motorcycle marquee has just introduced its newest creation – the F4 1000 R. Arriving just in time and unveiled to the press and public on Friday October 6, 2006 at the Melbourne Motorcycle Expo it is one of only a handful of units to arrive in the first shipment.

The 5th and final round of the 2006 BEARS Championship was held at Victoria’s Phillip Island circuit on Saturday and Sunday August 12 and 13.
Sydney’s Steve Cutting piloted his MV Agusta F4 1000 to victory in the premier F1 class, winning all 3 races at the final round after qualifying on pole and also setting a new lap record in the process of 1:40.35, which is .15 seconds quicker than the previous lap record.

The latest evolution of the world famous F4 line has a new edition, the F41000R. Sporting a new engine that has seen extensive top end changes complemented with the new Magneti Marelli ignition system derived from GP racing and titanium silencers has created a sports bike any die hard fan would be envious of. The (+10CV) power increase over the ‘S’ is a significant boost and is matched with new Brembo radial brake calipers, larger Brembo front discs and the new generation Marzocchi 50mm USD fork.
These are serious upgrades for serious enthusiasts. The F41000R is expected to land in Australia towards the latter half of September 2006. Pricing is yet to be advised.
