MV Agusta has again honoured the legendary Ayrton Senna by producing a limited edition F4 1000 – The F4 1000 SENNA.
Unveiled at the 63rd International Motorcycle Show in Milan, the limited run (300 worldwide) F4 1000 SENNA was a talking point amongst visitors and industry representatives.Bearing the Senna name, the F4 1000 boasts new and exclusive modifications including a new engine producing 174CV, new Weber Marelli 5M injection system which provides more even power distribution, and new Brembo radial caliper brakes for heart-stopping deceleration.MV Agusta is proud to offer this machine in honour of the legendary Ayrton Senna.
Maximum elegance is the concept behind the F4 SENNA.The new anthracite and silver graphics give new life to shapes almost unnoticed in the traditional livery and serve to strengthen the image of new lines, while the SENNA logos set the machine apart from anything else on the road.Other exclusive aesthetics include Titanium treated swing arm and air vents, one-piece foot rests, unique silver plaque on steering head bearing the SENNA name and build number, Brembo forged aluminium wheels, and extensive carbon fibre package.
The MV Agusta F4 1000 SENNA also heralds the introduction of a Brembo brake system featuring customised radial P4/34 calipers. This monoblock braking system is derived from Superbike and MotoGP machinery and includes a strut to provide increased rigidity mounted on radial adaptors made exclusively for MV Agusta.
The F4 SENNA is fitted with 50mm USD Marzocchi R.A.C (Road Advanced Component) forks, the most prestigious item made by the Bolognese factory. They feature a multi-adjustable unit (13 compression and 32 rebound settings) fitted with carbon nitride treated uprights designed for improved slide characteristics.Rear suspension is looked after by a Sachs single shock with rebound compression damping and spring preload adjustment that distinguishes between the absorption of a high or low speed shock.
This exclusive machine was designed to be MV Agusta’s top-of-the-range model for 2006.It is expected to arrive in Australia in limited numbers this Winter and carry an RRP of $50,000+orc.
